processed foods/sugar hangover cure

Ok, I know many of us are indulging in overindulging in foods that aren't normally a part of our diet this time of year.
I wake up feeling so crappy the next day, just like a night of drinking a bit too much.

what's your favorite hangover cure? I can't seem to find a good one besides not eating that way again for at least a few days .

Same here! I've been eating things I know my body doesn't tolerate well, and I've been really fatigued and having lots of digestive troubles. Besides time, any other good ideas? It seems that I'm wanting warm soups, so I'm trying to do those as much as possible.

Kombucha!

I've been finding that eating a lot of savory foods with loads of salt helps me - but that could have something do to with the adrenal stuff. Yesterday, after a sugar binge the day before, I was totally craving miso soup & NE clam chowder. I came home & warmed up some water & made some miso soup to drink while I cooked up a big ole pot of clam chowder, with loads of butter, cream & salt.

I also had a GT's grape kombucha yesterday too.

kefir seems to help too.

Miso soup or salty chicken bone broth are what I crave and thrive on as well when I'm sick, run down or have over indulged.

I also eat lots of plain yogurt (with a touch of maple syrup if I feel like it) with apple slices.

Raw veggies and salads too.

I try to eat some fatty foods right after my sugar indulgence, since SF recomends it in NT, pairing the little sugar you do eat with fat. I just remind myself that I don't feel good when I eat sugar, and use it as more inspiration in my trying to buck processed sugar. I'm trying to cut down on natural sugars, big time, but not eliminate them. So I use the sugar "hangover" to feed my willpower.
