Oh, those are cute!!! Once I am done with Christmas projects I may make one- I mean snowmen/women are all winter right?

Yours are cute! I've made a couple, too, and they are fun! I knit the scarf by c/o 65 st, and doing 5-6 rows of seed stitch, and I made the noses by felting a scrap of orange fleece, since I didn't have any orange yarn. They feel so nice and warm and squishy.

Very Cute Snowmen

DS just said, "those are CUTE!"

I agree!

I started one. Then messed up. Must restart and actually pay attention to the pattern.

What height did yours end up being? I expected them to be smaller than mine was turning out....but I LOVE them still!

This is my first post back since I haven't been knitting much (at all) for about 6 months now.

Although I still lurk...

I just had to pop in and say that these snowmen are so cute! I love them! And being so small - it just really caught my attention as something I could do over the holidays.

Yes, snowmen are good all winter long!

Gosh those are so cute! I just want to hold one of them, I bet they're really soft too.

I love those!! Are those in the most recent issue? I have yet to get that one. I am still on crafts from last winter's copy...

the pattern i used was designed by the gal here: http://knittingatnoon.com/toys.html#SnoB

it is in the magazine and i don't see a separate link for just that pattern though...sorry!

I followed Cat's link here: http://www.jimmybeanswool.com/knitti...pecPCVID=12270
The pattern is $8, though. Better wait for your issue!

I LOVE these. Was this the December issue? I might have to get my hands on it, I love them.

Take care,
El

It is the Winter 2008 issue, so technically not December, but it should still be available. There are a lot of really nice patterns, including felted mittens that I just made for dd. I love this magazine. :
