Christmas cracker ideas

I made Christmas crackers last year and they were so much fun. I included materials to make your own crepe paper hats, some candies and a fortune similar to a fortune cookie.

I'm looking for something new this year. Any ideas?

when you say Christmas Cracker, you mean like the little popper things that have prizes inside? I kept thinking a cracker, like you eat.

onthemove I printed off some fun fortunes from this site
http://www.chinese-fortune-cookie.co...e-sayings.html

I had male crackers made in one paper, female in another chrismas paper and a third for the kids so that the fortunes would be gender/age appropriate if necessary. I bought the little popper things at Michaels.

I haven't come up with anything new or exciting yet for fillers. Candies, something for making your own hat again I think or some other quick craft. We need to make these soon so I had better make myself sit down and think!

How about printing out some simple origami instructions and rolling them with a sheet of paper to fold.

Tangrams are also fun. You could make them from strong card and include a printout of a picture to make in each cracker
