Anyone here in the Raleigh area who HS or is planning on HS? We are seriously leaning in that direction and are looking for some other local HS families to get together with.

Great! We definitely need to get together soon.

Good that you are starting now as you will have plenty of time to decide which style is 'right' for your child. The best advice I ever got was to search on Yahoo groups, Meetup, etc. and join the groups that interest you. Introduce yourself, ask questions or just soak in the ideas/experiences that are out there. Attend meetings and gatherings and get ready to meet a lot of HS'ers. Best wishes!

The 3 of us should get together. Oh Chandi, I still have Chloe's pumpkin too!

When would you want to get together and where?

Emma,
I tried to reply to your email just now and my hotmail is being funky and won't let me type anything. Anyway, I'm leaving town next week but I can get together the week after. I'll try to email you again and maybe we can set something up. Have a great Christmas

Hi Ladies!
I am also leaning (very strongly) in the HS direction. Or, as my daughter calls it, "houseschool" and would love to meet up, get info, share thoughts/ideas with any local MDC mama's leaning in that direction. Thanks so much!
Andrea
