Does anyone use this service?

I signed up but I can't figure out how to use it? It says that you can add things to your cart but, I can't even find a list of foods to add to the cart???

I also can't find any information on the next time the coop is running.

Anyone know how this works?

Bountiful Baskets , you do NOT get to choose what produce you receive ,

you order a basket and go to the area at the time that is mentioned..

The organizers go to the wholesale house and choose the produce based on the best bargin for the amount of money they get from everyone !!!

When u arive at the designated area there are rows of baskets laid out ,
one with an assortment of fruit and one with an assortment of veggies ..

You bring your own basket or something to carry your produce home in.
You transfer the produce from THEIR baskets into your containers(basket)

If you order anything additional like bread or cheese, bring your reciept and they will have a table with your additional Items ...

It's hit or miss with them,, usually I am pleased with what I get and it's a good assortment..
There was one time when everyone got 5 heads of iceberg lettuce , I don't use iceberg lettuce so that was a bust.. And another time when everyone got 6 mango's (I am not a big mango fan)

Thanks

My question is though, I can't figure out how to order a basket. It says to add things to your cart but, I can't find anything to add???? When I go to "Offerings" it talks about what might be in a basket but, I can't find anything that will allow me to actually participate in the next coop.

Since they just did one this past weekend, will it take a while for the next coop to be active on the board?

You'll have to wait till they update the site. It runs every two weeks and they just had a pick-up this Saturday and sometimes they don't update the site/let you shop until just a few days before the deadline. It's at the bottom "Contribution Deadline"

The site is pretty wonky with how things open. There should be a button that says "View by category" on the right which has always done well for me. For the last two months that I've been doing it, it seems like they're in a constant state of remodeling the webiste. Hang in there!

Oh, I like to alternate between the "traditional" (East or West Valley) and Organic and that way I pick up something every week.

I really like the bread and the cheese was AMAZING! I'm sorry I didn't get more.
