Ahoj EC, I'm not trying to pick on you, but most of the problems with BJ are just the same as with SC, if not worse. I'm sure you've noticed that there is much discussion this year around BJ not having a recognizable image (for the sake of advertising). Surely this is in some ways a great advantage, but there is a flip side: as a parent you will be asked to fill in the details. You can tell the littlest children whatever you want but as they grow they start asking ever more sophisticated questions so you then have to: a) take a step back with the child(ren) and present things in a clear manner b) fudge or c) get caught in an ever more elaborate web of lies. I feel that I have made some wrong decisions in this regard and want to start setting things right this year. Part of my mistake was in thinking, like some others who posted here, that I'd keep things kind of vague and let the kids work through it themselves. But then everyone else starts telling them things, inviting them out to see Santa, asking if they've been good, etc. etc. and you end up in the position of interpreter and you start having to make hard choices.
S pozdravem,
