Join us as we explore:

• How children can be well fed but malnourished and the key nutrients for brain development
• How to keep your family healthy through the winter
• How to do all of these things without spending hours in the kitchen or breaking your budget!
Demos of food preparation and ample samples will be available for tasting, as will recipes for kid friendly, nutrient dense foods!
Annmarie Butera is an early intervention educator. She has worked with children with special needs and their families for the past 16 years. In 2001, she became a chef, graduating from the Institute of Culinary Arts in NYC where she learned the important, often overlooked connection between nutrition and optimal health. For the past years, she has been working with families educating them about proper nutrition for their children, especially those children experiencing problems with immune function (ranging from chronic allergies to autism). She runs cooking classes for parents and children who are trying to eat more healthfully.
