Vaccine for the common cold

Big Pharma wants to makes a vaccine for the common cold? I suppose after the FDA deems this one as "safe" the common cold will suddenly become a killer virus.

Two strains?? Aren't there over 200? I hate colds, but no thanks they can keep their cold vaccine. I can treat my colds naturally most of the time.

I hate colds and usually get quite sick and uncomfortable, but I still don't want to be vaccinated for them.

No freaking way.

SURELY people will start to see through the vaccine thing if they start seeing 'common cold' on the vaccine schedule. Especially TWO strains. We can't cure it - so how can a vaccine prevent it? I think I need to lie down.

It would be nice if people would see through it, but lets think about all the people that think cp is deadly now.

Holy cow. I bet they will say that the common cold kills thousands yearly. They will state that it attacks the inner organs, can cause pneumonia etc. They will come up with a horror story like that. Just like they did with all the other illnesses...

There are hundreds of strains so saying this vaccinates against two is ridiculous. I saw this link from last year when I went searching, I'd never heard of it until now. http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/US-...mon_Cold_Virus Is that what they plan to vaccinate against?

So they already put out that information - step one to create fear and let people think the common cold can kill. I bet that as soon as the vaccine comes out tons of articles will surface about how the cold kills people, just like that one.
