oh Lemonjuice and Beth~ hugs to both of you. You are obviously not horrible mamas- can you see how the love and care that you give to your children is what they show when they care for you in that way. This is what they have learned from you. So sweet.

I'm so sorry Lemonjuice that your partner is not more supportive.

Good luck Shelby with your induction. Sounds like it was a tough decision but one you are making with your best interests in mind. I'll look forward to hearing about your baby!!

Wonder how you're doing Kerri? Sending happy solstice baby vibes your way!

We're having a mellow day here. Rowan is snoozing on my lap, DD1 and DH just got back from xc skiing, and some friends are bringing some soup this afternoon. If only my home was as clean as it is peaceful, I would say this would be a perfect day

Happy Solstice, all! Bring on the !!

We had a much better day today, thankfully! I let them talk me into a loooong ride up to Boston to see family. So it was snowing and nuts...took forever but we made it safe and sound. I just had to get out and knew if I didin't do it today..I'd be trapped and regret it come Monday morning.

So we left the 3 boys w/ MIL and she will drop them off. So that is good...at least she's coming down here. That helps so much so we don't have to go back north again. They were excited and I assured them babe WON'T be born tonight and we'll see them tomorrow. Dd came home w/ us tho. So we ate good food and it was nice. Glad we did this since we won't see them. Thanks for the advice and hugs mamas...Janis you were right..it is nice having them out of my hair for a day and I know now my day wil be much easier tomorrow w/ just one child to watch!

Hopefully test results for gbs are back tomorrow. I see the mw in the evening (she comes to my house for visits after work) and we have a 41 week sono on Tuesday if babe hasn't come yet. After that I might start trying some induction methods...maybe...like DTD or anything else. My longest pregnancy was 40+5...and I'm one day past that in a few hours. But i'm still okay until Wed..then I will be so ready to go into labor!

Lauren710...you are SO close to me! There was another mama in our DDC from Prov too. We live on the line just south. I can't believe how much snow we had! It looks so nice out..but driving and living in it ain't fun After your babe arrives you should join the Prov playgroup on mdc...great group of mamas! I went a few weeks ago and wish I could go more often. They usually meet on the east side. There is another mama on mdc that goes and is due in Jan. It would be great to meet you one day!

Off to relax and enjoy one child in our house..who is already asleep!! :

Thanks. I went out this morning after DH and DD woke up to search for princess cake stuff. Apparently, *everyone* needed/needs purple sprinkles right now. Neither Wal-Mart nor Kroger had princess cake decorations. I bought a white cake mix and white frosting from Wal-Mart, then went to Kroger because they didn't have any princess stuff. Kroger had even less cake decorating stuff than Wal-Mart, BUT they had a princess cake mix!!!! : It's a confetti kind of cake mix, with pink and purple flecks in it. You bake it, then cool and ice it, and it comes with edible princess decorations. So I don't feel quite as bad as I did. I asked DH if we could just *buy* a cake, and I would find really cheap stuff to eat for the rest of the month (since we didn't budget for a cake) but he didn't want to. I don't really have the energy to bake and decorate a cake, but I had/have less energy to argue about it. Oh well, DD has a cake now : It's going to be 30* out tomorrow, the high, so we are going to have to change our plans of going to Chick-fil-a (they have a play place, but it's outside, so DD would throw a fit if we went and she couldn't play).

Other than that, not much going on over this way. DH has to get up at 3.30/4 to go to see about getting help with rent. He said the way they made it sound, DD and I don't need to come, he just needs to take photo I.D. for him and I and all of our social security cards, with a note saying how much we owe.

The leak we had in the ceiling must have been going for awhile before we noticed. We got the gas/water bill, and it was $250!!!!!!! Last month, it was $100, and it has never been over $100! I'm going to find out if there is anyway that the landlady might have to help pay it, since we couldn't have known about it because of the situation, but I don't know. I didn't know if there was a leak, they would charge you for it! It will be alright, though. I'm sorry all of you who want to go out but can't because of the snow. You want to send some of it my way? Not a lot, but it would be nice to have snow when it's this cold

Pretty sure this is "it"!!!

:

I woke up to some contractions and saw some bloody show at 7am. They were coming fast, every 5 mins..but not very "strong" and only lasting 30-45 seconds.

Now they are less frequent b/c my boys were at MIL's house and I really wanted them here. They just arrived 5 mins ago so now I may have my babe

Okay...off to labor and hopefully this babe will be here soon! I'm so excited, mamas!! :
