i'd like to:

build subscribers to current blog to 1000 (o boy, do i have a long way to go)
add audio & video
launch 2 .COM blogs
learn photography & wordpress

goals? ... wow, now that you ask, I guess that would be something good to have...

honestly, I just want my blog to work for ME so that, when I publish my book, there'll be people out there that 'know' me and will, in turn (hopefully) want to read my book

so whatever will do that, that's my goal

Shameless plug: I made my second goal today! I changed the way the subscribe buttons were laid out and doubled my subscriber base! : Maybe I will be able to bump it up to 1000 before year's end.

Can anyone tell me how to change my blogger URL without losing my readers? In other words, how to get folks redirected?

If its your own domaiiln, you can have it redireect automatically. If it's at a hosting site, I thnk you just have to put up a "hey, my new site is here!" link.

Updating to keep myself motivated.

My goals for my new special ed themed blog:

1. Content - Useful, helpful content. -- Started.
2. Use the above to get a good readership/traffic -- Not public yet.
3. Choose a Wordpress theme. (I have webspace) Figure out colors I want to use. Create a banner. -- Done! I'm using Thesis (I got some Get Geeky Money for Christmas LOL) and am teaching myself some very basic .css so I can customize it further. (and recognize the code later! lol) css isn't necessary with it though. The tinkering is part of the fun for me.
4. Register for adsense, feedburner, technorati, amazon, etc all at once so that's done and I can decide later what I want to use. Feedburner is done. Technorati is done. Google Analytics is done. I won't be monetizing until I get up and really going, so I'm waiting on the rest.

My short term goal is to write at least 10 excellent articles/posts within the month to get my blog up and going. See number 1. LOL

My list is similar to others':

1. Write more posts per week.
2. Work on my marketing.
