Hi!

Does anyone know of a good sugar free pie recipe? We are sugar free here, but a pie for Christmas sounds nice. Would this ever work?

TIA!

I use straight honey in pumpkin pies. Plus, I use kefir in place of the condensed milk.
Honey works for apple pie too.
Use raw apples, and drizzle just a bit over them.

Thanks. I don't want to cook the honey though since it turns it to sugar once it's not raw anymore. I'm having a really tough time with this pregnancy and any sugar I have leads straight to an infection Or I might splurge a bit.

I could try some stevia to sweeten I guess. Or Maybe I'll just make a raw pie. A warm one just sounded good.

I can't eat sugar either. I would just make the pumpkin pie and sweeten with stevia. You can add unsweetened applejuice concentrate to help if it isnt' sweet enough. I've done it with stevia and nothing else and it turned out well. I don't have a recipe for you. I usually just use the normal recipe and sweeten to taste.

You know, if you use sweet apples, you do not even need the honey.
I've never used stevia, so I am lost in that department.
I prefer to stick with a true sweetner, one that God created just for that purpose
