We live in Guildford/Surrey.We had been referred to an NHS dentist but we have yet to hear from them.I found another private practice from a local magazine (in another town in our county) and took DD there today.
The dentist we saw today said DD needs 4 crowns and 2 fillings. I was already very upset and she said the biggest factor was breastfeeding and suggested I should nightwean.

For all of this to happen,they need to sedate DD which I'm not comfortable with.
Before the operation,she has to fasten (no food and no milk for 6 hours)
I think this is just too much for a 2 year old.
I guess I need to see another dentist, a BF friendly one.So as the title says I'm looking for a pediatric dentist in Surrey/London area.
Did anyone of you experience tooth decay with a young toddler?What did you do?Were you okay with sedation?
