Ped dentist and eye doctor in Austin...

We are visiting Austin and my son needs to see a dentist...any recs? I also need to have my son's vision checked any advise with a dr in Austin?

When my son was 18mo, I took him to short visits with two dentists in Austin, Dr. Joan Sefcik and Dr. Griffin Cole. Both see kids, but neither is a pediatric practice. It was pretty quick, I was concerned about a beige discoloration that had just recently appeared and they had to look in and poke around a bit but not extensively, and it turned out to be tartar so we didn't need to do much getting in my son's mouth after we figured that out.

I like them both, both offices have a good feel and neither was freaked about seeing a small child. I've never been to a pediatric dentist so I'm not sure how much different it would be in terms of practice keeping the kids happy with the whole thing, or if more cleaning had been involved.
