Facebook removed a photo caption!

It's a picture of Bella feeding Maile her first bottle, and the caption was something like "Bella feeding Maile a bottle because she 'not have milk in her shirt'" which is what she tells me all the time. The picture is still there, the caption was just removed. No email or anything about it, I know I didn't remove it, so was it a fluke or is there a reason it was removed?

is there someone you can email and ask?

Hmmm...I would guess a fluke. Stuff like that has happened to me before. I really don't see what reason they would have to remove it, if that's what happened. You should put the caption back and see what happens.

Congrats on your new baby!

Chances are that someone who could see the photo and the caption complained about it. Is your profile open to only your friends list?

my profile is set to private, but I think anyone can see photos. I know if I have a friend comment on a non-friend's photo, I can still view that photo and album.

That would relate to the photo-poster's settings, not yours.

Check your settings. For the most privacy, you should have it set so that only your friends can view your photos.

Then, try posting the caption again. If it gets removed again, you'll know it was on purpose. Otherwise, the new facebook is still a bit buggy, so it might have just been a coincidence.
