I forgot to update here, but we finally named our DS when he was 4 weeks old. DH and I were butting heads on it and he was getting really upset I wouldn't give in and let him give our son the name he wanted. I am extremely picky when it comes to names (in a good way IMO
) as it needs to sound good and be a name to last him his life (obviously). I was not willing to "give in" to DH as I didn't care for his name choice with our last name, plus we already use his family's generational middle name for our kids and they have his last name. I wanted a part of his name to, dammit!
Anyway, we ended up compromising. We used the name I wanted (well, the only one DH didn't shoot down and the most significant to me anyway) as his first name and DH's name is his first middle name; I am calling him by his first and DH is calling him by the middle name.
So finally introducing Jude Koa Hee ____. We're heading down to get his birth certificate today, now that he's finally named!
