Please help! Our current pedi drives me nuts. Does anyone have any recommendations for a pedi that goes along with delayed/selective/no vax?

Thx in advance!

Aaron Kauffman. He's uber-crunchy, doesn't do vax though if you want them, he legal has to offer them so he has (had?) a PA who would do it.

We personally see Preston Matthews who is a Family doc who I love but some of me wonders if he's just tolerant of my crunchiness because I've been seeing him for 15 years.

Thank you! I already made a call, and they do accept our insurance. YAY!

We use New Mexico Peds/After Hours Peds. Dr Allison is very flexible with vaxs. In fact we are going there today cause C has a fever an sore throat and strep has been in her preschool. I don't want it for Christmas !

I saw Dr Deborah Cox at NMped and she was FANTASTIC about vaccines. I would check her out. See my post on the other Abq thread for details.

Bebe Han was just fine with our not vaxing, although he has pushed the hep B vaccine on some of my clients who have gone to him. in general though he has not raised an eyebrow at any of our choices. i don't know if my being a care provider has contributed to that or not.

Another vote for Dr. Allison at NM Pediatrics/After Hours Pediatrics. He's very laid back and is willing to have objective discussions about 'controversial' topics and is very non-judgmental about it. Plus, can't beat that British accent!
