I'm totally embarassed to even be starting this thread. i usually don;t watch TV, but I watched this show since it came on after The Biggest Loser. I think it's total trash TV, but I really want to see what happens :

Anyone else watching it???

We are : I agree that it's trash tv, but it looks SO entertaining. I can't wait till next week.....

Oh we totally watched it. It looked like that racist mother was going to get a beat down from Vita. I can't believe she said all those things!

I confess...I had to watch JoJo's momma take the heat of owning her words. Yeah, I'm guessing there will either be a permanent rift between mother and son or the boy just isn't going to find himself a girl in this crowd.

Count me in

It's a train wreck. I know this show is going to be a huge waste of my time, but I couldn't look away. I thought it was so sweet that JoJo wanted to keep Megan there. But she threw it away. I agree that she probably wouldn't have ended up with one of them, but it would have been neat to see if she gained some confidence and social skills while there. I did not like her hoochie make over.

I was wary of Cara from day one (when she threw the fit with the shoe...)
I'm not a fan of Michelle...I think she's about as fake as all the stuff she paid for.

So....Mrs. B never fails to shock me. I think I watch the show just to see what she'll do next!

Dh and I never watch this kind of reality trash...
...but we watch this show every week together! I think because of how insane Khalood is, how not even attractive the 'boys' are, how crazy most of the girls are. Those mothers are just insane!
Does anyone know where the name Khalood originated from? I've never heard it, just curious.

I really can't believe that she just ripped up teh ticket in from of the girls. She should have made a peace offereing to 1 of the 2 (black) girls who were taking teh time to comfort her the night before. That woudl have been the right thing to do, IMO.

I think she is 100% a racist, no matter what she says. I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir, but anytime you get married or whatever, there will be challenges and differences bewteen upbringing. Who cares if the biggest "issue" is skin color, or "mixing 2 cultures" as MsB likes to say. If it's a nice person who genuinely loves her son....

anyway, I can not stand her

Last night sure was a roller coaster. I was so angry with Mrs. B at first, then it seemed like maybe she was coming around. She seemed so sincere and open with those 2 girls after the date. But then... how dare she just rip up the ticket? Gah. I'm so grateful she's not my mom or my mother-in-law. Can you imagine? I wouldn't even be interested in dating someone who's mom was like that....

I do think it was the right decision to let Misty go. She was only interested in Jo Jo just to get back at the mom. I don;t think she liked him any more than she liked the idea of winning

(and I still can't believe I'm watching and discussing this trashy show)

She's one of those really obnoxious people that producers love to have on reality shows because they know viewers love/hate such people.

Mrs. B said she's Iraqi so I assume "Khalood" is an Iraqi name. She made some comment about how she didn't want a Muslim or a Jew for a daughter-in-law because she's an Iraqi Catholic. She must have grown up in the USA because she doesn't have any accent that I can detect.

The physical fitness challenge results for the guys was shocking. Jojo looked fit but he puked after the challenge which really wasn't all that difficult. He must be one of those guys who doesn't do a whole lot of cardio. I felt really sorry for the other guy who had to be taken by ambulance. That's not the impression he wanted to make.

And that one girl had $136,000 in credit card debt? Wow!

There's a slight difference in the way she says some words (I'll have to make notes next time because I can't think of specifics right now) But you're right, she must have come over early on in life...

Megan, the animal caretaker girl who seemed very shy and mousy, isn't who she appears to be. She's apparently a plant. And no, I don't mean the kind that have leaves and roots.
She's an actress who has appeared in some films. I thought something was afoot because why would someone SO shy come on a show like that. It seemed odd.
