We are giving my father an apron for christmas. I would like the kids to put their handprints on it. What kind of paint will have staying power on the apron, but will wash off their hands fairly easily? TIA

I know acrylic would stay on the apron, but will it be hard to wash off their hands. Any suggestions to get it off easier, if I use it? I have four little ones, I am not trying to use something that will take an hour to get off each hand.

I bought actual fabric paint from the craft store. It has stayed on for more than four yrs(on some projects)and has always come off my daughter's feet easily with just a little soap and water.

Thak you. I think I am going to go with the acrylic, cause I already have some of that and we are a little low on funds. Hopefully it won't be too hard to take off.

I've really never had trouble getting acrylic off my own hands while it's still wet.Maybe just do it one at a time so they can get washed before any of it dries on them.
