I will be 40 wks tomorrow and decided that we needed to get a "few" things from costco. OMG a 40 wk pg woman should not go to costco. I got all kinds of stuff I typically wouldn't get and got like 3 or 4 of everything DH about died when he saw it. I put it away all nice and you can hardly tell. Plus now I will have stuff around after the baby comes : but we really did not have that kind of purchase in our budget.
So if any of you are thinking of going to costco, make a list for dh and send him. You might save yourself hundreds of dollars.

I guess maybe it's a GOOD thing I don't have a car this week!

But, seriously, I hate shopping, so that would never happen to me, unless I was starving ... maybe ...

heh. i went like 3-4 times in the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy. it's the closest grocery! me & the roast chicken are like BFFs now!

haha!

I had my dad go for us instead, to get the items we wanted in bulk for laboring (Vitamin Water ftw!)! This is good...because I wasn't tempted to purchase anything else! I'm HORRIBLE in there.....

I HATE shopping and I DID have a list. I usually am so good but it just seemed like there was so much that I needed and I had to have 3 or 4 of everything. Yikes.

Dude, I just spit my tea all over laughing! "BFF's..."

I've been like rolling around naked in food for 3 days, My midwife is going to bust a gut when I tell her my weight. I did great the whole time and now I'm 39 weeks and nervious...i.e.ting too much of anything...and gaining!

Here's to porkly mamas!: May our slings get lots of use after! HA!

I HEAR YOU, SISTER!

I have been spending money like crazy -- and not on Christmas stuff. I'm 40 weeks today. I started my leave on Monday, so I've been stuck in the house, and mostly getting out to window shop/walk/get labor going.

It's mostly food. Now that it's in the house, I don't want any of it, either. So DH is going to have to get fat.

I mean... seriously... almond bark? I'm not even baking cookies this year!
