:Sophia was born Dec. 11th (on her due date) at 3:38 am. 8 lbs. 11 oz 20 inches long. She's as cute as can be!!!!!!!!!!!
Birth story later but just a little bit....................
We were at the hospital a little less than ~ 2 hrs prior to birth. Although I wouldn't recommend that b/c it was stressful dealing with the triage nurses who didn't believe I was so far along despite telling them I had been checked prior to coming in and being moved to several different places while in transition. Although, my mom reminded me that you never know how things could be different being in the hospital for longer- true enough.
But, we finally got settled as can be and was able to create a peaceful environment in which she was born- VBAC! She was so beautiful and healthy right at birth and got nestled in on me for awhile. I did have some significant tearing despite good efforts to avoid this but obviously a lot better than a c-section. I am so grateful that everything went well.
