Lactivism on Playstation Home

For those who don't know, Playstation Home is a new interactive environment where you can play things like pool, bowling, etc. while meeting other PS3 gamers.

While playing this guy in pool on Home, he'd asked my gender since some people don't always use their gender when making their avatar. I'd replied that, yes, I was indeed a gal since if I wasn't, that'd make nursing my toddler awful hard. As it happened, another guy 'overheard' my remark and we had a conversation about their wives breastfeeding and they were lamenting how their wives hated formula so that meant they couldn't feed their little ones. I than remarked about the risks re:formula feeding and ran down a few things about it. They were shocked and actually thanked me for the knowledge.

Never thought I'd be preaching the boobie gospel to gamers.

I work in a video game store so this is particularly funny! Gamers make excellent husbands! I'm sure more then one mama here is married to a complete game dork!

I've had many a conversation about "baby stuff" whilst killing people on xbox live!

Way to go mama! Infiltrate the male base!

Compy geeks and gaming geeks do make the best husbands, and the best daddies!

I read an article once about how geeks make the best lovers. Basically it was because they are used to thinking outside the box. And I think the same attitude goes into marriage and parenting- the box is just too boring!
