Facebook virtual nurse-in

Thread Starter
With many of us being on Facebook, just wanted to let you guys know that there is a virtual nurse-in in response to them taking down all the beautiful eating babies pics. All you have to do is change your profile pic to a nursing one on Dec. 27th.

Already planning on "nursing in." If this isn't a UA violation, maybe move this to lactivism?

...crashing from another DDC. What is the group called? The link takes me to my own list of groups. I figure if I add the group, then all my breast-feeding friends will learn about the nurse-in too. Thanks!

Aha! Found it. It's M.I.L.C. Mothers International Lactation Campaign. Thank you!

Count me in! I got a "warning" that they removed a photo I posted...too much areola showing is what I'm guessing.

A reminder to those who forgot...change your profile picture on Facebook!

Okay, I'm a wimp! But, I did post as my profile picture the "ultra boob" in my household: the light fixture. I never noticed that DH chose breast-shaped light fixtures when we built this house, until my breastfed daughter started to fixate on it and talk to it instead of us. Five years later my DS is doing the same thing-- holding conversations with the "big boob in the sky."

It's too funny-- I'll NIP with the best of them and whip out the boob anywehere. You name it, in church, in the mall, etc. But get me on Facebook and knowing that my former students will be seeing my profile pic, and I chicken out. I also chickend out about NAKing when I had a male former student visit, and went and fed my DS in the bedroom. Strange, huh?

Not strange Kelli, it's a product of the times we live in!

I changed mine, but there isn't a whole lot of boob showing that wouldn't already be showing in a cleavage shot... which is why I don't understand the whole removal of breastfeeding pics in the first place!

I changed mine to a lovely image of the Virgin Mary breastfeeding Jesus, and not being at all discreet about it. If she did it, it can't be obscene!

I thought your pic was really cute! We had one of those boob lights too, but it fell off the ceiling (we didn't install it). That's hilarious that your babies have fixated on it. I bet Calla would do the same if ours were still intact.

I NIP too but don't whip out the boob around certain people as well. So I understand!

One of my male friends posted a pic of his cat nursing her kitten. Awww.
