My intro (another intact guy)

Thread Starter
I ran onto this forum when I was doing some searching on the Internet, and being an intact guy myself I thought that I'd share my experiences.

My name is Kelly (yes, a guy with that name), I'm 23 (turning 24 soon), and proud to be whole genitally. My parents chose not to circumcise me because they knew how bad the operation hurts to a baby (and I thanked them even more later on when I learned about the various functions of the foreskin). I'm an excellent example on debunking the "conformity myths": I was raised with a circ'd father without any problems (no brothers for any other examples either way though), and I never once got any negative comments in the locker room or anywhere else on being intact.

I'll probably be sticking around here for awhile and sharing my insight on this subject.

While I'm at it, here's a couple of quotes that you might like:

From another intact guy on being called an "anteater": "I'd rather be called an anteater than cut, snipped, or mutilated."

From someone suggesting circ to someone else who is an intact adult: "Circumcision will make your sex life so much better." I said "No, it will probably make your sex life so much worse."

Welcome! I am the lucky mother of an intact little boy and the wife of a mostly intact man (he was premature and they couldn't get it all, thank GOD!). I am pregnant right now because of some hot f**eskin action! I agree with you, it is SO much better! It is how it is designed, that is so clear to me!

When they told me 'it's a boy!' at the hospital, the first thing I said is 'don't circumcise him!'

Thank you for coming on here to share with us and hopefully change some minds! <3 <3 <3

Come on in! The water's fine! Glad to have you!

Another mom: two intact boys and another "incompletely" circed husbabd. It's nice to know that a generation of intact guys in America is coming along to debunk the myths!

A bit OT but I *love* the name Kelly on a guy. Lord knows you probably get snickers and "really?!" all the time but I think it's actually a pretty hot name for a guy. I don't know why. Probably because the other 2 guys I knew named Kelly carried it really well so now I just have that association.

ANYWAY

Wlecome (nice to see someone else my age) and thank you for sharing your expirience and I like your quick witted responses

Thanks so much!
Another good site is change.gov which allows you to directly send a message to the new government administration.

Welcome K703! It's always great to have another intact guy here to dispel myths with first-hand experience!

As for having the name "Kelly"... well, you're in very good company: What man on this planet doesn't wish he was Kelly Slater?

I have a friend named Kelly and also a well known Panamanian baseball player whose last name was Kelly

welcome to the boards!!!!

I'm the mother of two grown sons who are both intact. One is older than you and the other is younger. I made many mistakes raising them, but I feel good about leaving them as nature designed them! There are definitely advantages for men your age having hippie parents! :

You don't need hippie parents to be left intact. Some of the guys that I know who are intact have parents who are the antithesis of hippie.

It's good to know that! When I was young, the only parents I knew who didn't circ. *were* hippies, or at least had counter-cultural tendencies....
I lived in a college town when my first was born, so that probably colors my outlook a bit.

I'm a bit behind on posting this (I caught a cold between Christmas and New Year's), but at a holiday gathering I had with my parents one of the things that I heard being discussed was circ. My parents mentioned that my pediatrician when I was born was anti-circ; that might have been a factor in their decision to leave me intact.
