FO: Cherry Glen yarn

I'm goin to be re-plying this. The parts that weren't over spun didn't hold at all so I have some really poorly spun bits in there. I'm not too pleased with this. I think I expected it to turn out differently. I started it on my drop spindle and finished it on my wheel (2 bats per skein). The part done on my spindle was more even, less slubby, and had better twist to it. I think I just got too excited to get it done and wasn't payin attention to detail. The single started on the spindle was longer than the single done completely on the wheel. Not sure what my yardage is but this is 14 wpi.

Cherry Glen...
because it reminds me of...
the Cherry Glen Iris...
described as a....
red-violet maroon ruffled variety.

( Here's the flower I'm talking about )

Ooh, pretty. I'm sorry it didn't come out the way you wanted it to, but I love the way the colours are working.

I'm liking it more now that I'm replying it. I think part of it was the loose plies because I love the colors and can't wait to knit it up!
