So where do you look to buy secondhand carriers and slings in the UK?

It looks like babywearer.com only has US swaps/ buys.

I have bought by ebay and craigslist. Don't know if you have craigslist.org but great resource for used anything.

There are heaps of mamas from the UK on tbw - I've bought from a couple. There are plenty of mamas who will ship overseas (I tried once but Canada post is really expensive; I think the US has slightly cheaper shipping to the UK).

A lot of the UK mamas put that in their thread titles for fsot. Also, there is a UK swap on yahoo I think. Just post in the UK subforum and someone can point you in the right direction.

Try Slingmeet to find people near you who you could meet to swap ideas with. This page has their links to places to find second hand slings.

Ebay is good too if you watch out for a bargain. I bought a Didy off German Ebay a few years back and even with p+p it was a good deal.

There's a yahoo group: UKbabywearingswap. Put up a wanted, though, as traffic on there moves unbelievably fast.
