I wrote about it here: http://www.serenebabe.net/ She's just a month shy of 5.5 years.

I'm expecting a new baby in May, so I also expect I'll hang around in here even more. :-)

So glad to have this place where my following her lead wasn't considered to be a weak thing!

serene babe - congratulations.
:
it's such a big step and yet such a series of tiny steps that i found it kind of hard to process. i like your description of yourself as fragile. my m's nursed just once in the past couple months and i've noticed that fragility in both of us. (it's like we are snowflakes. we're in awe of each other and ourselves but somewhat a tiny bit nervous.) it's an amazing thing to watch - and i've been honored to watch your musings about all the steps along the way.
much love,
aileen
(and that is wonderful news about the new babe on the way! enjoy your pregnancy and many blessings for a blissful birth!)

Thank you both!

I can't get over how totally at peace Maya has been for the past couple days. She clearly feels really proud of herself. And, she's been hugging me a LOT which is a really nice change. :-)
