just one more gift question

If anyone's up, I need to get a gift from my moms' side of the family for my 4 yo (they just told me to get something and they would pay for it). I am glad, because I really don't want to have too many gifts, but I know they want him to have something to open, so if there is just one, that will be better (for me).

I have to order something tonight. I am trying to decide between:

Because he and his brother love to play things like that, store, etc. We used to have a plastic one and I gave it away. They ask for it frequently.

Or, any other ideas? He is 4.5, and I feel like I am trying to decide at the last minute. I want to get something that will really be worth it and not turn into clutter, and yet I also read the thread about sustainable wood for wooden toys, and I like thinking about that for my purchase too.

I vote for the tree house. I can't WAIT until my little guy is ready for the tree house.

We're getting out little guy a kitchen in the new year. That will be right up his alley!
