Please send lots of labor vibes my way....

: I hope you have your baby soon.

I'm due today. *STILL* nothing. At most, a *few* contractions.

My mom called yesterday, and said that since today is my EDD, and I haven't had the baby yet, she'll probably call twice a day.

I don't really mind, I might can talk to my sister that way, but I don't need the constant reminder that I *haven't* had the baby yet. I have an appointment tomorrow, so maybe they'll check and something will be happening.

I'm starting to accept we may be having a New Year's/2009 babe. It wouldn't be a *terrible* thing, per se, just I don't know how well I can handle still being pregnant that long. *sigh*
I told DH maybe LO is waiting for everything to be ready for him.

I have everything packed, and right now am cooking some beans to make chili

: I'm making a double batch, which is going to make a *ton* of chili, but I

chili, DH has been wanting chili, and it should freeze well for postpartum meals.

My mom got me a rice cooker for Christmas, so DH can cook too!

: All he has to do is toss whatever in there and push the button, and it will signal when it's done.

No more excuses

I'm feeling pretty good, I guess, considering. Really sore, and pretty cranky, but other than that, in good spirits. I hope all you other ladies who are still waiting are in good spirits as well, and those of you who have already had their babies are enjoying them.
