Who's babies have it and does anyone have a magic cure for baby acne?
Mine does...I would like to know any secrets!

Mine had it pretty bad on her face and chest a few weeks ago, but it's cleared up considerably now. Didn't do anything. She's still got lots of cradle cap, though.

Ds has had it for about 2 weeks now. It is on his face and on his chest and belly. I think it is best just to leave it alone. Some days it looks like it is almost gone, then it comes back. I have read that usually after 6weeks old it should be gone. DS is 6 weeks and I am hoping it is gone soon.

My dd2 just got it about three days ago. She's six weeks today (snowgirl, I think today's your ds's six week b-day too--happy b-day!). It seems to be getting worse rather than better, but I'm just going to leave it alone.
She looks like a chubby teenager--two chins and pimples

We have it here, full body at times. Like snowgirl said it comes and goes. I still put Weleda Baby Cream every few days, but otherwise do nothing. We also have cradle cap and I just brush his little head with a soft boar bristle brush a few times a day.

Though, I have no idea if it is coincidence or not, but it seems to flare up if I consume dairy or peanuts. Maybe I am just being paranoid.:

Yes, Finn has it too and I swear I don't remember my other 2 having it this bad (and for this long). It is getting much better--he will be 7 weeks tomorrow. He has it on his back and under his double chin

Yeah, mine has it, too and he was 8w yesterday. Face and chest mostly, and sometimes it looks like it's clearing up and others not. We're not doing anything about it, either.

Same thing here! Mine is 8 weeks, and acne is pretty much gone except for when I eat dairy or peanut butter (my 2 favorite things!)
His cradle cap just started today though...

I don't know any tricks to help.

Baby acne is pretty much gone, he's just over 7 weeks. The cradle cap is weird, though, even in his eye brows. Since he's 2/3 mama fed and 1/3 formula fed I don't know what to attribute it to. He also has very mucusy stools, so it could be a problem with the formula still (we switched to lactose free).

Nora's had it on and off, and I noticed it was during her 4 week growth spurt and the 6th week growth spurt (now). I'm hoping it will clear soon.

My family is from the islands and the old folks remedy is to rub their urine diapers on the acne, for the baby and teenagers. My other kids never had infant acne and my DD has thrush right now, but if she didn't I'd be using the remedy myself.

aisy has it. i've been rubbing a little bit of breastmilk on it, which really reduces the redness. it seems like the breastmilk also makes it clear up a lot, but then more comes back. if i'm consistent with the milk it's mostly gone, but then sometimes i forget, so it's still hanging out!

Kaleb had really bad baby acne about a week after he was born, I used breastmilk too and it cleared right up! If it isnt too bad, I leave it alone and it goes away on its own in a couple days, but when it is like one pimple right on top of another, I use breastmilk on it and it really does work to clear it up!
