Heading to the hospital *update post 7*

My BP was slightly elevated this morning, and since I'm 41 weeks with a history of PIH, we're heading in to the hospital for tests and an induction.

update

So, we are back home. We went in last night and had a foley catheter put in, which did help dilate and efface my cervix, but didn't get regular contractions started. We stayed the night, and this morning my BPs all looked good, my tests looked good, so we are back home and will wait and monitor and hope for labor to start naturally.

I feel happy to be home and think waiting is the right choice for now, even as anxious as we are for him to be here.

wow that's awesome.....Please post your story everywhere, you rarely hear about hospital docs and midwives being so non interventionist!!!!
