baby developement and vaccines?

Anyone else notice this... I vaccinated my Little One at two months and then chose not to continue vaxing. After that round of vaxes she seemed less alert for a little while, also less vocal and went from being far ahead developementally to being somewhere in the middle. At about seven months old(afternot vaccinating her at all for five months), she seems a lot brighter and back to her super vocal self and is also ahead on the charts with developement. I really think it's the vaccines. Has anyone else noticed anything like this with their baby?

My DD had a high pitched cry after her 2 months shots even in her sleep for 2 days. I havent noticed any delays but it was a red flag for me. I since stopped vaxing her. Apparently a high pitched cry can indicate brain inflammation, but i was assured this was a normal reaction.

FWIW My DD(almost 10 months) is a bright happy child now, and very vocal. I do think stopping the vaxs has contributed to her health significantly.

I can only compare my older grandson who was vaccinated up to age 15 months, to my vaccine free grandchildren.

There is no comparison.

The two vaccine-free kids were much brighter as babies, much more alert, more vocal....but then the reason why they are vaccine-free is because their aunt talked to their mom about the damage vaccines did to her son.

She is such a good aunt.

Dd stopped babbling for a few weeks after her first shots (she received DTaP and Hib at 7 mos). She had a prolonged fever (a week) and very large and painful lump at the injection site.

I don't know if there was a connection or not. It did concern me at the time. She's 2.5 now and seems just fine. No other shots.

I've actually noticed the exact opposite so far with my boys. My older boy was vaccinated on schedule and ahead with his motor skills. My almost 5 month old isn't rolling and still has a hard time grabbing things and he is vaccine free. Night and day. Of course he is only 5 months old and he may very well be an early talker or something. My 2 year old seems to be sick a lot so we will see how that compares in the future. I'm prety anxious for my baby's second year to see how they compare but fully enjoying his limited mobility and glad that I can delay solids with him for a long time! I also love how individual they are and think their differences are really neat. Just my anecdote but I think there may very well be a connection like you suggest.

Yes. The difference between vaxed ds as an infant and unvaxed dd as an infant is staggering. Granted, some of it could be chalked up to personality difffernces, but ds was so much less engaged and less interested in people, never really needed to be held much. At first I thought dd was a high-needs baby, until it dawned on me that she was simply a typical infant, but all I knew was how ds was. I think if he were our second born we would have picked up on his autism much sooner, simply by having more of a frame of reference.
