Anyone ever put up a chair rail?

Sooo...we just recently painted our living rm. We did the whole "bottom one color, top another" thing & wanna put one of those chair rails where the colors meet. It is alot of work? Hard? I'm thinking the corners might be a tad frusterating! I am thinking I may, instead of that, just do some stenciling there. *sigh* I REALLY want this rm. finished! :

Anyone do a chair rail themselves? Easy? Difficult?

we did the two color thing in our dining room and dh put up the chair rail....it wasn't easy but as long as you take your time cutting the edges it is worth it

Thanks! I know it will look great when finished...how long did it take him to do it? And I heard places like Lowes, Home Depot, etc. will cut it for you...yes?

We've done it and I thought it was easy, a bit time consuming, though.

Make sure you have a good quality nail gun, a laser level and a miter saw.
