I'm here! This is *wild*! I am so grateful for this! I tested last night at around midnight and just kept staring and staring at that little word: pregnant!

I told DH this morning. I gave him an ornament that I wrote 9/09 on. Actually, I wrote 9/08 because it was late and I'm crazy so he totally didn't get it. So, I showed him the test. We are happy, and really don't believe it yet.

I got really sick both other times. Not hospital sick, just vomiting daily, spitting like a mad dog, hating life.

I am taking B6 and praying for a miracle as far as that goes.

I have two sweet boys. I can't stop thinking about if we will be a family of 3 boys, or have a baby girl.

How much B6 are you taking? I take 200mg/day to try to keep m/s at bay. I also find I have to stay extremely hydrated. Water makes me feel sicker, so I end up drinking lots of juice, etc.

Congratulations littlemama! I really like the way you chose to tell your partner (even if you did mix up the year). Very special.

Hope your pregnancy sickness eases and disappears in short order! I've been using sea bands (acupressure bands for motion sickness that you can get online, or at some healthfood or drug stores) and they've been helping a great deal.

200 sounds like a lot. I take a 50 mg/day supplement, plus my prenatal has 2.5 mg. I was worried about taking too much. How much do people take? I guess you've heard that 200 is safe? I need to up my dosage, if that is true!!! Thanks!!!

200 is widely accepted as the max dosage. Anything beyond that can supposedly cause some neurological damage after long-term use. So I feel safe taking the max dosage during pregnancy. I'd rather take that then end up having to take Zofran again!

Another way B6 can be taken for m/s is to take 25mg with have a caplet of Unisom. Sounds dicey, but it is actually the formula for the most widely tested, and accepted as completely safe during pregnancy, m/s drug. If you use it, make sure you get the Unisom in caplet form. The liquicaps are a different medicine.
