Increasing Breastfeeding Rates in an Inner City Community

So that's the topic of my Master's Thesis, which I've mentioned before. I handed the paper in on Monday and I am FINISHED!: I have completed everything I need to do to get my Master's in Public Administration. (7 years in the making!)

But, more importantly, the work that I did is not just for a degree, but it looks like it will actually be put into practice, which is really exciting and gratifying. After all, the goal of the entire project wasn't just about getting a degree, but to really make a difference, and implement changes that will improve our world.

I worked with a WIC office in the Bronx to create a grass-roots advocacy and support program to promote and encourage breastfeeding.

Some people PMed me earlier in the process, when I wasn't as far along with the project as now, and I had a quick discussion, but not very detailed. Now that the paper is complete, I am happy to share it with others, especially if it will be put to good use and create the kind of change we need. Please feel free to contact me. I can send you the whole megilla
