Oh, nevermind. It's BIG. http://www.fda.gov/oc/po/firmrecalls...orp401_09.html Be afraid... be very afraid. Now I'm wondering if this is what made Lily sick. :

Wow. I'm so glad I'm allergic to peanuts. I hope Lily starts feeling better soon, Hedy.

I'm in the process of turning my blog from ruby's pregnancy into a book. so much fun!

Oh, Lily is already better, but she's got one of those cast-iron constitutions. Now, I'm starting to feel it though. Blah.

Ok I need to set some things straight.

#1.... Looks like I owe you one Candice

and B.... That wasn't a prom dress. I was just as super cool then as I am now (oh you know it) I had to wear full length formal gowns about every weekend for a Masonic order that I belonged to as a girl called the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls (Rainbows)

I was in the Rainbow Girls for a minute. I had to quit cause we were poor and I couldn't keep up with the dresses.

My children will never be able to join cause I just quit without paying dues or something to that effect if I remember correctly.

I have thought of this, but she's pretty direct, generally. I'm thinking maybe it's a more subtle incompatibility, with her being further along on the crunchiness/politically radical curve. You know...vibrations from my tv /Burgerville/allopathic pharmaceutical drugs are polluting the pure air of the home, ideologically and/or spiritually. Or something. I'm sort of making that up, but I think there's a grain of truth to it.

Speaking of allopathic pharmaceuticals, it's time for my dose of ABX. I'm going to feel icky for a few hours. What a way to ruin the buzz from a good dinner. Oh, and the steroids! They're keeping me up at night. But I shudder to think where I'd be without my zoloft and antihistamines and NSAIDs and albuterol. I'm a walking drug store. Ho hum.

never leave the kids with gma and gpa when running to home depot.

Mad now has a pixie cut. and she doesn't like it anymore. anyone have a kids wig? will get a pic of her in a minute. it was bad, so bad, I said I wasn't touching it and drove her to the salon. she sat fine for the lady salvaging her hair. and was fine with the cut until about an hour ago. she's walking around saying she doesn't want to be a pixie anymore.

I'm all for the alternative treatments... but I've never been in the position of having to function through pneumonia to support myself and a child all on my own. Judging you over that is just plain unfair and ignorant. I really hope that isn't it.

And just remember... some day, she'll have a 5 year old who wants pizza all the time.

Just once, I'd like to see Caillou tell Rosie "no, scissors are for big kids," and instead of that little laugh, she throws herself on the floor and screams bloody murder for the remainder of the show, while the mom and dad try to divert her and fail and eventually they make her lie down and she passes out asleep and everyone is exhausted and run out of patience and they have tater tots for dinner. Now there's a show I can relate to. Not that we've ever had tater tots for dinner :.

I had a similar hair cut when I was 6. I hated it and cried for weeks. Although my mom wasn't trying to fix something I cut myself. I don't know what she was thinking. She claims I wanted it, but I didn't. I think she just didn't want to comb my hair in the mornings.

Her hair looks cute.. I hope she grows to like it.

Heh. I'm sorry.

You know how much I hate Cailou, though. You don't even want to know what I'd like to see happen to him.

I can't see the pixie haircut. Did it happen as a direct result of having left her with the grandparents? I would be very bothered.

Monday. Doc said I'd feel better by Monday.

she was doing fine cutting paper into little bits when I left. and when I came home all of maybe an hour, all of her hair was cut except for the one long piece on the back right side. it was almost a partial bowl cut. I was going to take a pic of it before the lady did her magic, but of course the battery was dead.

I didn't tell them that she was using scissors before I left, and she was watching cartoons so she was quiet, and the parents didn't think anything of it, till it was too late.

live and learn.
