Reading all these lucky mama's getting to finally hold their little ones makes me excited and a little jealous! If you are still pregnant post and let us know!! (also when you are due!)



So, I'm here.. 3cm I'm due Sunday 12/28!!

I'm quite envious too!! I really thought she'd be here by now....my first was 4-5 days early, so even though I am not officially "late" I feel like I am!

I'm due today- 12/24! No other info as no internals have been done, but the midwife said she is in perfect position for labor and delivery- hope that didn't just jinx me!

I'm still here! I was due 12/20 and no progress so far. Have had a few little signs but I'm keeping my legs crossed until after Christmas.

I'm due 12/28 also with zero progress as far as I can tell. Frustrated, jealous and miserable, staying sane with omega 3's and b vitamins. I even contemplated giving up my homebirth just to be done with this... fortunately I posted over on homebirth and got some good support so I am trying very hard to visualize her coming soon and trying to keep my mind off things. Good vibes to all of you......

Still here. Due date is today. I have been having sporadic contractions and am slightly dilated. My 7 yo and 4 yo keep telling me that she will be born tonight so that the baby can be their Christmas present. I hope they are correct!

Had lots of contractions last night. Lost my plug today, my water has probably broken too, it's so light we're not really sure if it's that or just from the passing plug.:

Midwife will be by later to check things. So far just crampiness, a few contractions here and there.

Hoping this is the end of a very LONG journey and I get to hold my SON soon!

I am still here, still working, no sign of anything. Closed and not effaced. I have appt on Fri for NST and sizing (b/c of the GD). I am taking my herbs and hoping that labor will start soon.

Though I don't want him to be born on holidays, I think Jan 2-3 would work!

I'm still here, due tomorrow. Baby seems to be hanging out on my right side, which the midwife says could mean he/she would end up posterior. So, I'm working on laying on my left side to get baby to roll over, but I'm not holding my breath. I had back labor with DS, so I have an idea of what I'm in for.

I hope all the overdue ladies go into labor soon!

And congrats, Leanna, it sounds like you're well on your way!

Still here. I'm not upset, really, my EDD isn't until 12/28, but *really* uncomfortable. I'm a day shy of being a month more pregnant than I ever was with DD, so that's not helping. I had an appointment on Monday, the doctor says he thinks we'll be having a Christmas baby, but unless I have a labor like my mom had with me (Not realizing she was even *in* labor until 30 minutes before I was born.), that's not going to happen (no signs yet). I'd be happy for him to wait until after Christmas, if even just the 26th.

hey, I'm the latest! *and* the oldest! woohoo!!!! : EDD was the 18th. Monday appt showed no signs of progress - baby not low, at all. But no exam, so no specific info. I'm content to wait.

well, I'd be much happier if I hadn't had the night from hell with the inlaws. (I'll post my horrors in the weekly chat)

Nope - I'm the latest! Was due 12/17 and still hanging around. Everyone decided to stick around for xmas to be with me in case the baby came, which was really nice. But still really want the baby to come. Now I'm kind of hoping he can wait just a little longer until tomorrow afternoon so my daughter can have xmas morning - but I REALLY want him to show up just so I don't have to start stressing how late he is. Hanging in well for now though

My original ideal scenario was going into labor this afternoon, having the baby late night and then everyone over for xmas morn with presents and new baby. New ideal scenario is: we open presents in the morning, whole family (mine and partner's) have brunch together, go into labor sometime in the early afternoon. One can dream

I'm still here! (sorry I don't post that often, but I love reading this forum) My due date is Dec. 29th, but I'm hoping this little one decides to come a little early. I lost my mucus plug 2 nights ago, and have been having mild cramping/contractions ever since. Hopefully that's a good sign :-)

ok, then - I'm *not* the latest *yet* ! My last baby was born at 42w5d ... 42 weeks is Dec 31. We can't decide if we need the tax deduction bad enough, or if it would benefit us more to reach our medical deductible in January, which would certainly improve things substantially for 2009. <sigh> Our medical deductible is higher than our MW fees.

Hi all! I'm still here. Due 12/29 with my 1st. I rarely post, but check the forum daily (which has been really wonderful-thank you). My midwife checked me on Tuesday and my cervix is posterior. I'm feeling some cramping and lots of pinching, but have no idea if that means anything. We're trying everything to move things along. REALLY hope baby comes before the new year!!! Our insurance is changing over 1/1 and the tax deduction would be nice.

Hey ladies,
I'm a lurker as well. My DD was 12/19 and I have been having predromal labor since Sunday, it is quite torturous. I am just trying to maintain enough energy so when I do start active labor I can make it through. Labor vibes to all that want them!!

Another lurker.... I am due on 12/28. My daughter came at 41w5d so I think it is very possible I'll go into January!
