I found 20 more things in my bedroom last night, bringing my total to 107. I am going to work a little more today and tomorrow, then call it done.

We finally found a charity that is accepting donation items. It was CRAZY there!!! They had two drive-through lines going with three drop-off points in each line, so SIX cars were dropping off at the same time... and the line of cars was still halfway down the block! : As busy as they were, the gentleman who helped me unload my trunk was sooo nice and kind.

I'm almost done with the sewing supplies and only got rid of 10 things there. I decided to clean out one of our kitchen cabinets and that was a true bonanza of crap! 35 items gone from there.

oh getting close!!! but i'm slowing down too. ive hit all the easy areas but i won't let myself stop cause i'm sure there are 74 things i'm hanging on to that i really don't need-and i won't count the girl clothes that i probably won't be needing now that it looks like i'm having a girl- its tempting though! lol.

Tackled a pretty evil looking dining room cabinet today. 25 more items gone for good!



ETA: Went through our old cloth diapering stuff and got rid off 8 more things.

I found 10 more things today:

3 dead aloe plants to toss
1 raggedy rag to toss
6 things out of my dining room hutch drawers

Later I am taking down the Christmas tree so hopefully I will find a few more things to get rid of.

Major cleaning going on here...but I forgot to count....I threw away about 11 holey socks, I counted 19 things in a bag for salvation army, plus another full grocery bag of small misc. toys...probably 25 or so, two old pillows, a large box of womens clothes (80) and a large bag of childrens clothes (37)

That makes my total: 174/500 woohoo! off to a pretty good start

Excellent, just what I needed

Our recycling bin was collected (it goes out fortnightly) and the bin guys took my two extra boxes full of cardboard too (thank you recycling bin guys). The bin is now 3/4 full again, but at least the spare room is finally clear of recycling now

Decluttering-wise: A grand total of 2 today so 2+327=329/1000 (every little helps!)

I found 9 Christmas ornaments to Goodwill, 1 roll of Christmas paper, 1 old chapstick, and 7 cheapy bracelets to Goodwill. That is another 18!

Everyone is doing splendidly!!!

Tackled the spice cupboard today - 15 jars out of date (oops! although most were almost empty, except the poor fenugreek), jars all cleaned out (bin smells divine!!!) and into the bottle bank bag. Most were doubles and some were once-off usages, so none will be replaced at the moment.

Then the fridge - another 8 jars and cartons to be recycled and 5 icky things into the bin.

And generally, another 10 items into the recycling bin.

So, not too bad... 33+329=362/1000... pushing to clear the 400 mark this weekend!
