A real Aussie Christmas!

Hi to everyone down on this side of the world! Just wanted to mention to those who may understand how much I'm enjoying having a really hot Christmas this year. Growing up Christmas was always a scorcher and involved heaps of swimming with my cousins. The last few years though it seem to always be cool and overcast. It feels like a real Christmas to me this year with my boy running around in his swimmers with his cousins!

I know it must seem strange to those on the other side of the globe who long for snow and bundle up nice and warm on Christmas Day! Just wondering if any other Aussie or NZ Mumma's are enjoying a hot Christmas?

Yea to an Aussie christmas here, too! I should have checked this forum days ago! We opened gifts in the morning & had a bit of brekky, then went down to the beach for an hour or so swim. Then it was home to a cold cooked meat & lots of salads lunch-dinner. I was a good girl this year, I didn't have my first glass of wine until after 3pm.

Yep, late coming to the party....
Where in Northern NSW are you? I'm just past Ballina over the ferry.

It was HOT HOT HOT here. Hated the actual heat but loved that it felt like Chrissy again & that Blake's first Christmas was the traditional Aussie Scorcher.
