Speaking of Ben....hubby and I went out to dinner tonight, and as we were waiting for our table, this man who looks exactly like Ben walks in! I mean exactly like him--bug eyes, spiky hair, same nose... The only difference was that this guy was shorter and a tiny bit more pudgy. Also, he had his 4 children with him, and all of them had those same eyes!
After a while, he pulls out his phone and starts letting his kids play games on it, and then starts talking a bit more loudly. Wouldn't you know, he sounded like Ben, too. It was the weirdest thing... I couldn't quit staring!

Another idea I had, though it doesn't seem that impressive now, but I felt pretty smart at the time , was that the whispers they were hearing in the jungle are people in a past time. On some websites, they have transcripts of the whispers, and the whisperers know survivors names and stuff.

I think I could be rewatching Lost for years to connect all the dots!

The whispers only happen though when The Others are near. Sometimes I wonder if the The Others are the survivors but at a different time and somehow they are on the island at the same time, does that make any sense? That would explain why they took the children in the beginning since they could take better care of them.

Jin - Until now, I assumed he was still alive but somehow on the island. But, I do understand why she would blame Kate for Jin's death. Kate screwed up.

Whatever happened to the kids and passengers that the "others" kidnapped soon after the plane crash? I know they show that one flight attendant once in a while, but they never really developed that story line.

I love Sawyer and Juliet together.

Hmmmm... I didn't get from that segment that Sun 'blamed' Kate. I understood Sun to be telling Kate that she would do anything for Aaron. I felt like Sun was trying to convey to Kate that since she was willing to do anything for Aaron in the past - she needed to step up to the plate now.

I feel like the 'Six' will be a cohesive unit in the end. (to get to the island I mean)

I'm trying to figure out why only the six need to get back. Why isn't Ben trying to recruit Desmond and the ship captain, too? They were there at the shift, too - why don't they need to get back?

Oh, I totally think Sun blames Kate. You could see it in her eyes. Even after she said she didn't blame Kate, it didn't feel at all sincere to me.

Didn't Jack shove Kate into the helicopter? I thought Kate was trying to go back for Jin. I think Jin is still alive somewhere!

I think Jin is alive somewhere in time.

I think the voices are the audio footprints of everyone who has ever been in that area at the same time.

I can get behind the time travel theory, but I still want to understand the giant foot from season 2 when they went to the opposite side of the island. And I also want to understand why Walt was allowed to survive, while the Island "took" Michael.

I also don't think Sun blames Kate at all. I just didn't get that from her. But I remember in the pre-episode, with commentary, the writers saying something about that. So I could be wrong.

I think Jin is alive, too. In the pre-show special, one of the writers said something about how Sun "believes" Jin to be dead. It was more awkward to say it that way than to simply say she was mourning his death, yk?

My dh thinks the donkey wheel that Ben turned to move the island was placed there by aliens. He says the island is a spaceship (or a timeship?) So I dunno, but that four-toed foot will play a big role in ths show somewhere, I'm certain. Also Adam and Eve.

I don't think the whispers are just when the Others are near. Sayid heard them after he escaped from Danielle, and again just before his girlfriend (I can't remember her name, the blonde one) was shot by Anna Lucia.

BTW, on the hotness scale, Desmond is at the top for me!

But I think this is when Cindy disappears, isn't it? We still don't know if she was part of the Others to begin with ir if they brainwashed her after they abducted her.

Does anyone else kinda think Faraday could be Desmond and Penny's child? It shows Penny in what looks like labor/birth in the previews. Why would that be important? Faraday is unstuck in time too, isn't he? I'm probably way off here...

But technically neither were the 6. And if it's just in the general area then what about Des and the pilot like someone else brought up. Also, then why does Locke need to go back?

Who do you think "he" is? As in "Jack, you are not supposed to raise him", and "Kate, do not bring him back to the island." I'm quite sure it is not Aaron, too obvious, but I'm torn between John Locke and Christian Shephard.

I enjoy reading Jeff Jensen's reviews on entertainment weekly. He thinks Lost fans fall into two catagories: the Stephen King fans ie. those who enjoy the mystical aspect of the show, and the Stephen Hawking fans who like the science/science fiction aspect of the show. Which are you? I'm def the latter.

But sometimes it is the obvious. I believe the he is Aaron.


As for the why leave Walt alone. Technically Michael wasn't on the island either and the island wanted him back big time so much it "wouldn't let" him kill himself. If time corrects itself (a reference made multiple times in previous seasons) and the plane was supposed to crash Walt needs to go back since he isn't supposed to exist outside the island.
