I didn't think Daniel is ltting her die -- I think he knows the only way to save her is get her a constant and the only way to do this is to contact his mother. Also, is she going in and out of time like Minowski and Desmond did when they had the sickness?

Daniel knows wh charlotts's sick b/c shes prob showing the same symptoms as the woman who became sick and he"ran away to america and didn't help"..the chick in the bed that whitmore is taking care of.

Daniels mom IS the grey haired lady, shes in california talking to bug eyed guy(lol...mama brain) about how long he has to get back to the island and whitmore just sent desmond to california to find daniels mom(coinscidence i think not LOL)...I do think whitmore/grey haired lady are Daniels parents...I think Whitmore was head of the island, lost it and thats why he is funding Daniel's research, so he can go back and claim the island again...just a thought!

Ok - Richard is not time traveling. He's just really old, does not age, and can get on and off of the island with ease.

Charles once moved the island for some reason which is why he has been trying to find it for the past however many years same as how Ben is trying to go back now.

That's why Richard knew to warn Locke about the island moving throughout time because it had happened before when Charles Widmore moved it.

Oh I'm sure he's named after Charlie. After all, Charlie essentially lead Des and Penny back together and died in the process. Des probably feels that, in a way, Charlie died FOR Des & Penny. I think Penny would have been moved by the story abnd would agree to name her son after Charlie. I

In the beginning i found it weird too, but then realized that maybe it was meant to be like a general "you", sorta like "you people"...

Getting confused about who is Ellie. Are we talking about the girl that was in the picture in Ben's house? If so, if Ellie and Ben were around the same age, wouldn't that make Ellie too young to be Daniel Faraday's mother?

If we are talking about the gun-toting girl on the island, then yes, I think that's Daniel Faraday's mom.

Ellie was the young, blond Other who took Daniel out to see the bomb in this episode - around the same age as young Widmore.

Yes -- I thought that was a great episode! I loved the part about Jin, too!!! Oh -- and the scene with Claire and Kate! Does that mean that the people left on the island are the whispers???

An hour is just not enough time, though. At the end of the episode I was sitting there thinking "Wait...but what happens next!?!"
