Countdown to LOST!!! Season 5 - Page 2

What is your guess as to how much of this next season will take place off island? Seems like it'll take a while for Jack and Ben to gather everyone up. Unless there is a lot of going back and forth from what happened on the island after they left concurrently with the group going back.

We just finished season 4 online tonight....

I'm very excited for the new season to start. I spent the break rewatching the previous seasons, and it still wasn't enough. I'm tempted to start them again.

What is the official word on watching Lost in Canada this season? I heard CTV is no longer going to show it, but A Channel is (whatever that is), but why can't I just watch it on ABC?

It should be on ABC.com on their online viewer. That is how I am planning to watch it. I hate having to wait an extra day, and have to avoid message boards for a day until I can see the episode, but I don't have cable, and I just recently get a tv, but only for DS to watch videos when mama is having a meltdown.

: So excited for Season 5!

We bought Season 4 on DVD when it came out last month. Has anyone else watched the special features that came with it? Some really interesting things. They took all the flash forwards and played them in chronological order (I haven't seen that one yet, but DH said it was interesting and helpful) and a 'mockumentary' about the Oceanic Six.

Nope, haven't seen those. We watched season 4 online over the past couple months. DH just got into Lost this fall and we watched four seasons together! haha.

What date does it come back on? It's been so long I had almost forgot about the show.

And Sawyer is way to good for Kate. But I think Sayid is the hotest guy on the show.

I'm so excited - I can't wait for it to start!! This has been one of my favorite shows from the beginning.

Yes - Jack is a big cry baby and Sawyer is hot! I also agree with the pp who said that Kate doesn't deserve either of them. I hate how she just has sex with one when she's mad at the other. Who puts up with that crap? Why do they?

But...I just realized that I am going to be traveling that night and preparing for an interview the next day! I won't be able to watch it until the weekend unfortunately.

Last couple of seasons, we go see the season premiere or finale at the Alamo theatre where we can drink & watch. It's really cool to see it with a big group that is excited too.
That sounds FUN! I bet I can find something similar in Portland. I'll have to check it out!

I listen to a few LOST podcasts during the breaks. It's fun to stay in the mood... but It's been about a month now since I've listened. One of them does character analysis of the main people and goes through everything we know about them in a chronological order. Danielle Rousseau was an interesting one. I'll have to start listening again, or watching the old seasons to get in the mood.

It's the 21st right? I just realized last week that I will have to sign up for my local channels through my satellite. The local channels will not be able to be seen after February using an antenna b/c of the digital switchover or whatever that is. What we've been doing on Lost nights is turning off the satellite and just watching it on our local channel. Guess I'll have to pay the extra fee if I want to see it.

They definitely do it at the Alamo at Lake Creek (near Lakeline mall, way North) in Austin. I am not sure about the other locations, you should check the website.

If you come to Lake Creek, let me know!

Hey! Looks like an interesting read, but time consuming and requires thinking. What I'm gonna do, is print this article at work and read it on the train going home tomorrow. This way I will be able to digest it without any interruptions from my wonderful men.
