All this time traveling on the island was complicated, the whole thing with Desmond - what was the reasoning for that? Why does Faraday want him to go see his mother?
The beginning was interesting with Dharma Initiative guy.

i think his mother is the one that Ben saw in the last episode ending. Wasn't she the psychic that talked to Charlie or was it Desmond?

Do you think that the girl with orange hair (she came to the island with faraday) is the daughter of the dharma initiative guy?

Remember last season she said something about searching for the place she came from for like 20 years?

I wasn't thrilled with the season opener but I still have hope.

Desmond saw her, when he got knocked out by the hatch exploding and he traveled back in time and was with Penny again. She told him that there's nothing he can do to change the past/future. And, yeah, I suspect she's Daniel's mom.

My new theory for the night: I think Miles is Dr Candle/Chang's son. He's the right age... it fits. They all have a connection, there are no coincidences.

This episode was great!! I finally feel like I know what's going on. LOL My dh pointed out that Faraday is not aging either just like that other guy (can't think of his name, he has dark hair, is one of the others).

I agree, some things from the first 1-2 seasons seemed to make more sense now.

No, I think it's confusing the way they showed it, but Locke being on the island is happening in 2004 - right after the six were rescued and the island disappeared. Locke OFF the island is happening in 2007, so at some point he gets off the island to recruit the others to come back.

I agree. I don't think Locke was dead off the island and alive on the island at the same time at all.

yes! I agree that is his mother too!

and her name was "Penny Locke"

As for Faraday, I think his was a flash forward, as in he is currently on the island, but as they are moving, he will be thrust back to the dharma days and disguise himself to fit in and learn. and Sawyer was there when they did the orientation tape in the beginning. So they will be undercover in the dharma days

And probably most obviously, the Asian freighter guy is probably the son of the doctor from the videotapes. I thought that was cute, him and his wife and baby. I assume Ben wiped them all out, but if the kid go off, maybe that Dr (cant think of his name!) did too and he will be back!

Also I love Sawyer. I just love mean guys, what can I say. He could slap me around anyday, lookin like he does without a shirt

And Sun, she totally has gone over to the darkside. She BLAMES Kate. I didnt anticipate that.

who would want a blood test from kate? could they even legally do that? on what grounds? that is absurd. They want aaron?! Why, cuz hes special like Walt or they think they can use him as ransom or to get back to the island? Ben is trying to scare her to go back to the island.

I love Hurley, love him so much. Love him throwing hot pockets at Ben Love his parents. Loved that mom believed him and dad helped him Its the least they could do for him.

Still confused. Locke is dead...right? Like..forever? Looked dead to me. Cant wait to see them all get back to the island. Kate once again having to make her choice with Jack and Sawyer. Meanwhile, Sawyer and Juliet are gonna get it on.

Where was Aaron's carseat!!! Don't the writers know that a child that small needs a carseat?

Sun is totally blames Kate and I bet she is helping Widmore get Aaron. Why did she show a baby picture of her dd? Wouldn't she be a year younger then Aaron?

What does the nose bleeding mean? I remember seeing it before but I can't remember what it means.

Ben is going to have a hard time getting that group to go back to the Island. They all hate him or each other.

I'm getting close to not watching it anymore. I already stopped watching Heroes and I'm having similar issues with LOST now. Enough with the back and forth. They were smart to give us 2 episodes because if I'd just gotten the first one I'm sure I'd have canceled my season pass.

I remember the nose bleeding from when Ben gasses all the Dharma people. He was in the van with his father, then he put the mask on and opened the can. His fathers nose started bleeding then.

No he wasn't. I thought that at first too, but if you look more closely you can see that it is definitely not Sawyer. Just some guy who slightly resembles Sawyer.

She should be approx 8-9 months younger than Aaron, but Sun doesn't have her. her mother has her dd so maybe Sun doesn't have any recent pics. Or maybe Sun's mother doesn't have her at all & that's what she told Kate. Maybe something happened to her dd?

I think the nose bleeding signals impending death. With what she said about how she feels/forgetting things I wonder if this is the "sickness" that what's her name said was there when she killed her boat crew.

When the fire arrows were being thrown that was 2004, BUT when did Eko's brother's plane crash? That was quite a while before 2004 & Locke was in that year. I wonder if they can go ahead of 2004 into the future to 2007 when they come back to the island. Is that how they get back on, Locke kills himself so they can get back. But then why is it so important that they keep Locke's body safe & who are they keeping him safe from.

Remember when Locke was shot in the chest(I think it was the chest), he was in a pit. He should have died from that but didn't. I wonder if he can come back somehow?

Nothing can change on what happened before, so Locke has to wait how long before he kills himself? It has to be after they get off the island.
