Baby's her!e (actually 12/20)

Just a note to say Baby Boy arrived in a home water birth on Saturday the 20th at 3:51 p.m., had a cord incident and wasn't breathing at first but with quick mouth to mouth by our midwife he was pink by 3-4 minutes after birth. I'm recovering well, we're doing well, the labor lasted all of 1 hour 20 minutes (precipitous to say the least) and all we have to do is decide on a name!

Our baby was born on the 20th also.

We had a torn cord w/ my last birth. It can be really scary. Glad things are going well.

So glad that everything worked out, I can imagine that must have been scarry initially! I also had a crazy fast birth here (I'm one of the two whose midwives didn't make it in time on our DDC), about 15 minutes of actual pain, about an hour total from first contraction to birth.

I remember you from the white coat hypertension threads! Glad that everything worked out with that and your midwives!
