if you go to jersey keep in mind that the GW traffic IS a nightmare and it costs $8 to cross into the city now. yep, you heard me right. $8.
we live in upper manhattan and it's lovely. if you do move here, try, if possible, to go west of broadway. the noise is less. inwood is gorgeous too.

if they have alternate side parking, leave the car. we brought ours. 3 months later mom and dad got a new car as long as they came to pick it up. we seriously gave it away, it's that big of a nightmare.
