Step Brothers

Thread Starter
DH and I just watched "Step Brothers." I have not laughed that hard in a loooong time! Seriously, my sides hurt from laughing so much and there were times when I couldn't breathe because I was laughing so hard. I love John C. Reilly, Will Ferrell, Mary Steenburgen and Richard Jenkins, so it was a good fit for me on paper, but I didn't expect to ::: !!!

Totally worth it if you're in the mood for really silly, sophomoric humor.

My family took me to see on my birthday. I remember laughing out loud when they wanted to redecorate their bedroom.
Will Ferrell is one of my family's favorites. No matter how goofy he is, we love watching him.
Anchorman is my personal fave.

It's hilarious!!! We just sent it back to Netflix and I wish we hadn't cause I want to see it again. So many funny parts: when they build the bunkbed, the fight scene ("You yelled rape across the yard!"), the drum kit part (gross but funny). The thing that kills me, in a good way, is that John C Reily is an incredible talented actor - freaky good talent so I love to watch him because you can see him be an intense character in a drama but then he does these oddball movies with Will Ferrell that are just too over the top. Def a for Stepbrothers.

My friend rented it for us tonight. OMG it was so much funnier then I thought it would be and I knew it would be pretty darn funny!

I must be the oddball here because I didn't like it much. It just wasn't that funny to me. I love Anchorman and Talledega Nights but I thought Will Ferrell's latest movies just haven't been funny.

: omg i HAAAAAAAAAAAAATED the movie. it was sooooooo gross. it was way over the board slapstick for me. i think i am more of a wit person..... i looooooooved the big labowski and what is that band movie (you know that was a spoof of a band, not a real band but the members did really go on a tour and people bought into them actually being a band). darn i cant think of the name. was it a 70's flick? cant remember. it was a spoof on the band lifestyle. (i am giving you what i laughed at so you kinda have an idea of what i call funny). for instance sooooo many people laughed their heads off at 'a fish called wanda'. i just N E V E R got the humor in that movie.

We thought Step-Brothers was really funny, too. We're all about the gross-out humor in our house!
