My EDD is tomorrow. So far, from what I can tell, he's pretty comfortable in there. Fine by me, I'd prefer he be here sooner, but if he needs to cook longer, that's alright too. I never went into labor with DD, they tried to induce, but nothing ever came of it, and I had a c-section. I have had some light bleeding this afternoon, bright red. Is that something that is normal with being close to having a baby, or is it something I need to keep an eye on, in case something is wrong? There's no mucous or anything, just some bright blood. Like I said, I have no experience with anything labor related, so I don't know. I'm not worried, just curious. Thanks!

Bright red blood means call ur midwife or doctor. It it was just show it would be mucousy and pinkish (so I'm told, never experienced it until after true labor began). Anything that isn't brownish, pinkish or streaked would tell me to call someone to be safe.
Good luck!

Have you had an internal exam or did you DTD recently? I bled for a full day after DH and I DTD around 37 weeks or so. It hasn't happened since, but the same thing happened to me in prior pregnancies, so I didn't freak out this time around. It stopped after a day. I would definitely call if there was nothing to bring it on though.

I think it was because we DTD.
I didn't even think about it could be because of that.
(Although it makes sense, since it has happened before.) It's just been so long since we DTD...
Since it was only once, and it wasn't a lot (just when I wiped the one time), I'm not really worried about it, but I have an appointment tomorrow, so I'll probably ask just to be safe. I haven't had an internal exam, although I kind of wish he would want to do one.
I don't want to *ask* for one, but it would be nice to know if anything is going on. Thanks everyone.

Internal exams are done for your emotional well-being - if you want one, don't be afraid to ask. It might be nice to hear *something* is happening, but then again, if things are closed and tight, don't be discouraged!
