The I am Fine Still Being Pregnant Thread! - Page 2

39 weeks tomorrow. Other than this cold that I have had for 3 weeks, I feel great. Once the baby dropped, I started feeling much better hips and pelvis wise. Also I just found out today at my appt that baby may be breech. So I definitely have to wait until after my U/S. Oh, and I would like to get a few things done around my house first. Clean my bathroom, sweep and mop the whole house, and I have some sewing I want to finish. With the cold, I haven't been able to keep up on the housework like I have wanted.

36 weeks here. At this time when I was pregnant with DS, I had an extra chin, a bigger butt and had added 1.5 to my shoe size number. The baby has dropped a little, so breathing is a little easier right now. Tomorrow is also my last day at work, so I'm really happy about that. I'm content to have DS #2 stay in longer, as we still haven't picked a name yet and I have a billion other things to do before he makes his arrival. Now if this cold will go away, life would be easier.

I am totally cool with the baby staying in for a couple more weeks. I am 37+3 today and another 3-4 weeks for me to get things in order would be just fine! I have the worlds longest to-do list..... I can't believe how much I have let slide! Other than one rib being out of place and my hips aching- everything is cool

I'm 38w3d, and though I feel huge and slow I am enjoying these last few days of relative peace and time to myself before my life completely changes (having my first child at 43!).

After my first arrived at 34 weeks, I am always thankful for every day I keep these little ones in! My second made it 39.5wks, and this one is 36.5wks now and hopefully will hold out until at least next week! I am ready as far as clothes washed and things prepared, but otherwise I wish she would stay in a while longer!

Well the snow has finished, but not in enough time for our dance party. Since I am not leaving the house, everyone feels the need to call and check on me toady. Apparently snow=labor in the minds of my friends.
So sorry to disappoint, but it is really unlikely I will be in labor today. I think I need another nap. (yawn)

I'll be 38w tomorrow with my first, and yeah, I feel great still!! DH & I are extremely excited to meet our little one, but time has been flying by so friken fast that I feel like, even if I go 2 weeks overdue, that's a month from now! Months go by SO fast, it's rediculous! And being a first timer I'm a tad nervous about becoming a mom so it's like. . .she can come out when she's good & ready, not rushing anything!! Everything is ready for her now, everything is washed, bags packed, nursery set up, cosleeper set up and a mini diaper station next to my bed, the house is clean, good to go! I could probably stand to cook & freeze a few more things, and maybe do a BIG shopping trip to stock up on some necessary food items but other than that, really just hanging steady!

No heartburn, BP is great, My public bones killed me for almost 2 months, but they are actually lessening now, so either I just got used to is, or baby has moved somehow so they stopped hurting. Still sleeping really well - only peeing 2-3 times a night tops, no swelling or leg cramps, back is a bit sore but not horrible, energy level is good, I haven't had to nap during the day yet (although I'm in bed by 9!!). The first 20 weeks of pg I threw up several times a week and was pretty miserable, but since then, pregnancy has been pretty easy!

Can't wait to meet our little girl though!!

For the first time in a few months, I feel GREAT! I have all kinds of energy, im sleeping more, less back/hip pain. The pain is still there when I lie down or bend over but thats to be expected. The pressure is a little hard to deal with (bladder and cervix) but I can breathe now because the baby has droppd away from my lungs.

I wish I could have felt like this weeks ago. Now I am actually enjoying being pregnant. I remember LOVING being pregnant with my other two and now I realize that I liked it for the last couple of weeks but they were equally as sucky for the months leading up to that.

I am also really horny all the time now... DH is having trouble keeping up.

I'm 37+a few, and feeling fabulous. I kind of feel like I could go through the rest of my life being 37 weeks pregnant and be ok with it. Maybe that's obnoxious but I will say that it's a huge contrast to the first half of pregnancy when I puke 20 times a day, so I'm ok reveling in the fact that the end feels so good for me.

I'm also super sentimental about my 2 year old, who's in a very sweet and affectionate phase right now. So I'm just trying to relish every day of this time with her, especially considering I feel good physically. Plus, I went 1.5 weeks past my EDD before, so I'm just working under the assumption that this one will be late and I could very well have a February baby.

Of course I'm still eager to get to the big event, and am so excited that it's getting close, but I'm content to wait for now.
