A few questions

I am finally at a point that I feel like I'm over all of the hurdles that I first crossed with breastfeeding... I feel like we have a good relationship and that things go really smooth at most if not all feedings most days. The only issue is that at night he doesnt seem to be able to get full enough to settle in to sleep... am I not giving him enough milk? I have been giving him pumped milk at night but he hates it and so do I. Can I fix this? or will this just end up how it is.

Also any moms who have delt with low supplys at first... did you ever truly get past it?? and were you able to get to a point of pumping and storing for those times that you couldnt nurse and not having it take away from what baby needed for the day?
and do you get up and pump during the night if baby sleeps through, hes more then willing to sleep through the night but I heard that that is terrible for my supply. and nights where i get up to pump then he wants to nurse and theres nothing there so he struggles to go back to sleep and before I know it I have been up all night.

Some encouragement please!

I had low supply - we had huge problems, but we are absolutely fine now. But no, I don't pump, I hated trying to anything out when things were really bad, and I very quickly gave up pumping in the night (DD slept 8 hours between 2 and 4 months). Could you ask a friend for some pumped milk if you need it? We used donated milk from friends for a while back there, and I'd do it again if I needed it.

Fenugreek, still take it. Domperidone (4 weeks worked for me, but feed more in that time, and supplement less, slowly). Watch that your baby is feeding, swallowing, most of the time. Try to get plenty of rest, lots of water, eat well, oatmeal is great.

And try to relax an enjoy it! Most important, but hardest of all. I found with DD that this was most important when trying to get her to sleep at night. I would try to relax, and massage the breast to get a faster letdown, more milk ad more relaxing hormones for both of us!
