She must be a mom!

So last night's bedtime story was "The Little Red Hen," and when we got to the part where the Hen does all the work around the house, the cooking, the cleaning, the laundry, the shopping, etc., my four year old broke in with, "She must be a mom!"

I had to agree...

Oh, that is cute.

Along the same lines, my ds once asked me what a butler does. I told him, and he said, "Mama, you sure would be a great butler!".

To further that sentiment ... DD1 once asked what one of our female friends was doing, and I said she was at work, and dd1 said, "But mamas don't go to work!"

Oy.

Yes, this stuff bothers me too...I asked DD2 what she wants to do when she grows up, and she said "I want to have a rainbow kitty, and when I put the rainbow kitty to bed, I will do the dishes."

That's her greatest aspiration: the dishes. And I even work part time!
