I'm so glad you started this spinoff. I don't know anything about the reality TV families, but I knew the answer to the fictional family right away.

My answer: the Keatons from Family Ties. Growing up going to peace rallies.... sweet!

The simpsons.... The Griffin Family was a possiblity, but I don't think Stewie and I would have survived to adulthood.

The waltons.... I'd love to have grown up with a large family...hopefully a few older brothers. I wish I could have a large family but it's irresponsible these days.

I'm torn between the Cosbys and the Ingalls. Both good families, but can't quite decide which time period I'd rather be in. I think I'd rather live on the prairie.

I picked Cosby's and other, other being The Tanners (aka Full House). I crave being around people and my small family of 4 I grew up in was quite boring. Cosby's seem more open minded and accepting than the Tanners and place high importance on education without forcing it.

We could choose more than one? Oh man! I would have loved several of them! I picked Cosby's though, because I loved, loved, loved that show! I also loved the Ingall's, the Tanner's and the Keaton's.

Don't remember the name of the family, but what about Good Times? JJ would have been a riot. lol

I like the Cosby's, but they still seem a little too fake for me. I went with the Keatons. They were fairly normal and I never wanted to be part of a big family. 5 in one family is more than enough for me. I always wanted a brother growing up. I'm not sure Alex and I would agree on much, but it would certainly make for some interesting family dinners.

out of those listed, family ties

other than that, the robert conrad series, High Mountain Rangers . Oh yeah. I could totally live up in the mountains with a generator and a rather extensive library

I was torn between these also. I would add that I was torn between those two and the Keatons, but I would have killed Alex. So materialistic AND a young republican?? NO WAY! I picked the Cosby Family. So if they ever want to adopt a white, 34 yo married mom of 2, I'm available!!
